Im looking at a massy 640 planter.  It looks like a allis 330 air champ!!  Question is are parts still available?  It only has one set of seed plates, and it may need 1 or 2 fertilizer discs.  Other than that it looks pretty good!!  Also it has sat 2 or 3 years with the seed plates in and I heard that when left in over time they will warp!  Thanks for any info   Kurt

Yes, Allis did have an agreement with M-F for a short time on planters.

I'd like to see a picture of that. Sure seams like MF had a lot of equipment made by their competitors. White made some of their combines..Minneapolis-moline and Oliver made tractors for them..Badger made forage equipment for them..who else made equipment for them?

Yeah id buy it if I knew i still could get parts for it!  If i get it i will post some pics!

78 AND 79 series units.....330 and 333 frames.

Thank you Dr!!  No seed plate discs left for massey but plenty of them for allis!  Go figure!!  I would agco would have parts for the massey and not a allis!!  So im going to buy it.  Should be delivered around the middle of March!
