I was just curious to know what kind of tires came on the D17's in 1964. It has 16.9-28 Armstrongs on it, and being a one owner tractor I was told they were original by a family member. I was also told by someone else that there was no way it came factory with Armstrong tires on it though. Just wondered if anyone knew the brand Allis Chalmers used back then.

Tires were often a local dealer chosen item.  Our D-19 of that era had firestones on it...

Firestones....GoodYears.....B.F Goodrich.....that is all from West Allis and all 45 degree lug bars in 1963.

Dads D-17   (1963)  came factory with Firestones.

the 1966 D17 ser 4 I had came new with B F. Goodrich tires.
190XT 2WD45 WF D15 D14 CA BIG10 302 & 303 bailers 77G rake 80R mower 6 plows and alot more
