i don't have either but it will matter which year model he has. also early tractor have front and rear rims that are different so he will need a pair of each. I have an early tractor and they are split rim, looks like newer are not.

ok i happen to have the parts books with me today. the serial # break is 2003 for the newer models.
according to the book, front and rear wheels are different below #2003 (early models) also if im reading correctly models prior to #210 used a 3 piece wheel (2 part lock ring) i cant say if the newer style rims will work on old machine, almost looks like the hubs are bigger on the newer model. i dont have parts book for that one to look early models use Rockwell axles so the rims are not AC specific
