Ok guys im going to copy ilgleaner here, except mine arnt near as nice as his I thought I would share a few things about my 21.
I found it on kijiji in alberta and after a couple calls to about the nicest guy you could talk to from over 3000 kilometres away, we agreed on a price and I bought the tractor.
Here it is when I first got it.
![]() ![]() When got it home I noticed something I thought was pretty neat, who ever owned this kept records of everything done to it over the course he owned it written in the cab frame . In the the pictures below it shows that it had a complete engine overhaul at 1598 hours in may of 1970. It now has around 4300 I believe.
![]() ![]() I put a new valve cover gasket in it and few other things but thats about it, its still isnt perfect but I like it.
Here it is present day.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for looking and always welcome comments and enjoy reading them.

Pretty straight 21, a series one at that.. looks good with the 210 and the 190. I really like how they look with out the cab. personal preference I guess. BTW.. what did you with the forklift? LOL

the forklift at the moment is sitting out in the scrap heap. My dad says he wants to make it 3 point hitch so you can use it on some of the other tractors but I will believe that when I see it lol. I dont think the forklift did this tractor any good as it was pushing almost 20000 pounds with the 24-5-32s filled with fluid and four sets of rear weights in each tire plus the forklift.

A crack in the air intake hose will take out an engine fast.
Good find.

Scott, my old block went to China. Found another good D-21 block out west. It a 3500 block with the correct serial number to have been in a D-21.

Woops, I goofed on my post as I thought Calvin was the owner for some unknown reason. My comments on the tractor still apply. It is a beauty.

That D21 is really nice Dpower are you planning on leaving the cab on it or are you taking it off, we decided to take ours off because some of the glass was cracked up and the door was bent but yours looks nice and you dont see to many D21s with cabs. Also my cab once had an air conditioner because there is a covered hole in the top of the roof and the one panel I replaced was cut out so the compressor could fit. does yours have that too? Also I see yours is missing one light out of each fender like mine, if you find a source for the good original lights would you please let me know. thanks
