I put 70's in my 6-71 and drove it on the floor.Never had an issue from injectors.

I ran 70's in my truck inline 6-71...that gave in the vicinity of 250 HP. You should be able to count on about 40 (+) HP per cylinder. 65's would work well too...about 35 HP per cylinder. Your HD 5 likely came with 55's new.
Currently- WD,WC,3WF's,2 D14's B. Previously- I 600,TL745,200,FL9,FR12,H3,816 LBH. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!

These engines ran the older HV ( high valve) injectors. They originally came with HV6 but you can put in a HV7's. From what i was told the 6's had better power at high speeds and the 7's were better at low end torque. Are HD5's have HV7's in them and have no complaints.

I have HV 7 in mine - 2nd set since i owned it - last set I had rebuilt and bought through truck company I plowed snow at - cost me $27 each exchange... 
probably more now ...
