Ah oh I think I got a bug from the orange spectacular the gf wants a tractor now and I got empty space in the garage so you put the two together. Did find a decent c for 1150 though within driving distance I think I'd make a nice little winter project I'll defiantly post pics when we get it next month I think the only motivation I have for buying a house is so I can get more toys i don't know if that's good or bad lol. Guess they're are worse things a 22 year old can spend his money and worse things I could be doing. Hard not to like a hobby like this though with such a great community of guys and fun shows to go to, like Orange spectacular.

Having a girlfriend who likes the same things you do makes for less fighting over what to do...

I can tell you with 100 percent certainty, that spending money on tractors is a way better option than what I was spending money on when I was 22. When spending money on tractors, you can look out the window and see where your money went to. I had to drive down to the city lagoon to see where my money went to, and it wasn't pretty. I wish I had started my Allis addiction about 20 years sooner than I did. Darrel

Gotta agree with darrel about the 'view'. I can show you 2 or 3 bars in town I probably paid for a few beers at a time.....sigh...
Nice thing about buying the GF the C is she'll KNOW where you are (in the garage) and probably will help you 'turn wrenches' to get HER orange on the road !!

Man I shudder at what I could have bought tractor wise had I not blown it in the bars....

Cheers
Jay

WD Those of us in this hobby need more young guys and gals to get into it. The vast majority of us are not in it to make money. The best part for me is all the great people I've met.       Mark

I have a girl friend (wife to be) that likes old tractors, so back two or three years ago I found her a nice D17 so she didn't haft to drive one of my old WD45's, she loved farming with the D17 over the WD45s, all was good in my world and along came a guy looking for a D17 stopped by to see if I might be able to find him one, well she was in the field working some ground up so I can plant it the guy see's her on the D17 asked if I'd let him make offer in the tractor so me being me I shot him a high price thinking he will say no, well danged if he didn't say I'll take it (you older guys know how this is going to turn out) if I can load it up now, so I sold the tractor right out from under her butt. Man was she hot at me over that little deal. It was two years before I found her a replacement tractor, it was the D19 I have here now. So learn for my mistake, if you get her a tractor for her own, don't sale her tractor before you find her a better one first!
lol
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.
