Hey guys, I stopped to shift my 7060 a couple days ago and I pulled the floor shift lever into neutral and it would not go back into any gear. The tractor is definitely in neutral and the stick wiggles around, I just can't push it into any gear. Anyone have any ideas?

Does it just grind when you are trying to get it in gear?

No grinding. Stick moves side to side like normal but I can't push it up or down into a gear.

Was the two speed in neutral also or in a range when you towed it?  Was it running when you towed it?  The trans could be stuck in gear, and if the two speed was in neutral, or the engine wasn't running you would still be able to move it.

Is there something stuck like a small stone or a nut under the steel shifter umbrella> You know, where the floor mat meets the stick.

There's nothing hydraulic about that gear shifter. Sounds like something under that umbrella...............hopefully.

Didn't come completely out of gear, so the innerlocks are keeping it from going into another gear. Remove gear shift and look into hole. one shifter may not be ouite lined with the others.     MACK

Mack, You hit the nail on the head. pulled the floor plate out and took the top off the tranny and got things freed up. Thanks a bunch.

I had an Intl 560 that would do that routinely

I had found a piece of steel that fit the forks and would need to use it three of four times an hour when pushing snow.

The reverse to first was the worst
