Roto-Baler advice needed

I am working on an Allis Roto-Baler that I got at an auction.  It is in pretty good shape, but needs a few of the wide rolling belts, a few of which luckily came with the baler.
    What I need to know is how one can compress to roller assembly a little so one can get the new belt on?  It it the upper set of roller belts I am working on.
      Also, I am unsure where the twine goes after it comes out the long tube.
      I do have an operator's manual, but it does not say much about either of these issues.
Any help will be appreciated.

hammond equipment, fawnsdale, ala, for the belts. best to do the whole set, but I think they sell individuals. Can't remember how to compress, but What I generally do is to lace the new belt to the old belt, and snake it through like you're fishing a wire.

Remove the large spings at the back of the baler,Unhook the latches on each side. This will loosen the belt tension. Read the owners manual from front to back, very well written.

Unhook two big springs at back, unlatch bail chamber, loosen brake, then set jack under lower roller will loosen top belts.   MACK

Swen   It will pay you big dividends to attend the Orange Sectacular in july as they do dailey seminars on the rotobailers.  Can remember them saying over and over the best friend you can have operating one is a oil can, also the importance of making sure the brake is free.  I highly recomend you go!!    Mark

Mack, I cannot agree with you more.  Do be safe.
Swen,  listen closely to the advice given above.  It is very helpful and accurate.  Also, do read the manual carefully.  When you have replaced the belts there are several adjustments that have to be made.  They are critical and very important for a well running machine
