There is a gazillion hours to reproducing the deck shells and seems there is no end. Getting close to completing them though. This has been a challenge to keep them as original as possible. I tink I will have 3 to sell if anyone is interested in them. Tracy

Pat, probably around the $1500 mark. They will be very professional. They are thicker than originals on the deck itself. The brackets will be same thickness as originals. It is basically just the deck, no height control on rear. I will post pics when I get them done. Thanks for the interest. Tracy

I'd say it would be a challenge to build those decks. Rather time consuming to I would guess.

Just the deck shell and anything welded to it? So for someone with
a worn through, rusted, bent and re-welded mower, they would swap the existing parts over to your new shell. That seems like a logical approach. As for the price, nobody wants to part with hard earned money, but for a low rate special custom reproduction I think that is fair, in my opinion. My deck is in good shape however. |

Oh yup it's the 3/4x3/4" square piece that is on a shouldered bolt, goes in the slide for the roller height adjustment

They would be easy to make. The less lost motion in the roller assembly, the better off you will be. I made all new brackets that hold the axle and bolt to rear deck brackets. Mine were worn bad. HTH Tracy
