is the sheet metal on the d14 the same as the d15 like the side panels under the gas tank and the front grill assembly. thanks in advance

Don't know about the side panels, but the front nose cone and grille is different between the 14 and 15, with the 15 being wider.

A Series I D15 is the same I believe (except for the diesels). But as mentioned above, the series II is wider. Panels under the gas tank would probably be the same though.
