So with the upcoming tractor show season fast approaching, I have a questions for you all. What condition do you show your tractors? Do you only show them restored, or as they roll. The reason I ask is because I am planning on taking to my WD to a few local shows and it is the definition of un-restored. My take on it is, "it's still an antique tractor." I am also debating removing the freeman loader for the shows, should I keep it on?
So what do you all think? What do you like to see? What kind of ridicule do I need to brace myself for. Are these dumb questions? All opinions are welcome.

I do them both ways, I have a couple that are restored and a couple of true originals. The originals usually get as much or more attention than the restored ones.

I like to see the restored tractors, cool to see what they might have looked like as factory original, or the persons interpretation of. However, the tractors that came right from the field are the best. I am more impressed with a 50 year old tractor that drives in from cultivating or something. Runs like a top and you can see the years of work the machine must have put in. Those have the most character. I like the unrestored best!

one could almost draw more criticism about a restoration than an original tractor. at least with an original it is what it is. I would degrease it and pressure wash it real good and take it as is.

Take it with the loader on it, if you can haul it! I never see one at the shows with the loader on!

I enjoy them both ways.
I think too many people get caught up in this debate for no good reason.
I just love seeing them all done up like new and imagining them rolling off the rail car from the factory.
I also love seeing them after having done 50 or 60 years of honest work.
One way is not automatically better than another. I have a CA which would not stand out on a showroom floor in 1952 and a G that hasn't seen a paint gun since te day it was made.
Both are very cool to me.

I show mine with the freeman loader and people often say "I used one on the farm like that" I would show it with the loader if I were you, I also show mine in working cloths.

I show mine both ways. I quite often show my 20-35's together-one restored and the other all original. The unrestored one always attracts more interest.
Show yours like it is and leave the loader on if you can.
