I would say that the most common are 8.25-20" but some early models and most basic models did use 6.50-16" on the front and 7.50-20" on the back. They also used drop centre rims for the 6.50-16" and the 7.50-20" and flat base rims for the 7.50-20" and 8.25-20"

9.5 X 20 military non directional tires will also work, if they are worn down about 2/3. I bought a set from genesco, and you could fit a nickel between the 2 rears...

Nathan, you might want to check with WW Tire in Watertown. Father-in-law bought 8 of those non-directional tires for his dump truck from them this fall. I think he said he gave $125 each unmounted. They are 8.50 x 20. They are new take offs.

I bought new "off shore" made cheap truck tires for my grader. Quality was not important as they would not be carrying any heavy loads at speed. They had three tread designs to choose from and being a little smaller in outside diameter than true grader tires or old military tires it left more room between the tandems for at least one set of chains. The military tread is almost useless in snow.
