I was back out east last week. Went by the 918 that I had seen last November . It's tied up and not for sale(dang it !!!) ,the man has went to a nursing home. I did however look at the serial number again. The serial number on the bell housing. 918 1227.   I have pics but haven't loaded them on the internet.

918 is a big machine - digging depth is rated at close to 18'  and loader is I believe 1 1/2 yd capacity . 
 I looked at 3 or 4 in this area over the years but ended up getting a 715B , would not mind having a 918 also but as have not done much backhoe work for a few years - don't need another toy now .
