 Topic: Snap couple blade

I thought I'd take a couple of pictures of my blade while I had the WD out. The blade side tilt and forward tilting screws are all free, which is rather amazing to me after sitting out for years. I guess the previous owver was pretty good about keeping them greased.

That makes for a nice setup, A WD and a SC blade.

3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Agreed on the nice setup and nice looking blade. Dad and four older brothers did not treat ours so well, but I have it and am slowly putting it back to somewhat normal.

i bought a blade like that last year. All the screws were rusted tight, but with a little liquid wrench and some elbow grease they freed up pretty easy, i was pleasantly suprised.

Adam, I take it you have room for the arms to raise without hitting the bench seat. I converted an old three pt blade years ago and with my 200 plus pounds on the seat the top link bracket would bump the back left side of the seat pan once in awhile. My old farmer jacket ended up with what looked like battery acid holes over my left cheek over time.

The lift arms do hit the bottom of the seat when they are fully raised.

Allisnut - just curious: do your blade tilt screws have the collars or the nut and locking pin on their ends? And if the collar type, are they still there?

They have castle nuts and cotter pins on the blade end.
