Go to any auto parts store and buy a roll of gasket material the right thickness. Start drawing and cutting. If you don't have a hole punch, lay the gasket over the mating part and tap around the edge of all bolt holes with the ball end of a ball peen hammer.

This is not a flat gasket. It goes around the end of the torque tube.

Your talking about a round thick gasket that goes around the torque tube and has a retainer with two slotted bolt hole in it so you can turn it tighter? If so when i restored my WC ten years ago this gasket wasn't available any more. So i took a rear main seal for a D17 and stuffed it in there. I did cut the sael a little shorter but it works and doesn't leak yet. Matt

I used a large(fat) O-ring from our local Cat dealer on mine. I helped a friend work on one 5-6 years ago changing a tranny housing, and his had what was left of a toilet tank gasket with what looked like RTV all over it. It wasn't leaking, seemed to seal good.

I have used grphite impregnated string packing, worked for me, I assume your talking about the retainer with two slotted holes. Mark L

I thought you were looking for the torque tube to differential gasket. From what I have heard the torque tube seal to the tranny is no longer available. I found a quad ring at work in the misc. pile. It was a little too big, so I cut it on an ange and put the cut side to the top. I haven't ran the tractor yet but I believe it will work just fine. I had a quote on having cork cut to replicate this gasket, but didn't have buyers ready to justify the start up cost. Shuda couda wouda.
