Found an all brass sign/plaque with stand at sale. Any info as to age ect will be appreciated. Can supply photo if anyone is interested. thanks bones

absolutely provide a pic. I used to work on them and some of the info on the plate tells exactly what it is. is it just the plaque or the whole pump. they were very good pumps and easy to work on and parts are still available.

It is just the plaque. All brass and appears very old.New to this forum. I havn't figured out how to attach a pic. thanks ron

I attended an NFPA Fire Safety Congress in Denver, CO in 2000.
'AC Pump' had a large display of 'Fire Engine Red' Fire Pumps. I believe they are still in business, but under a different name. ITT Pump has the AC line of pumps, Siemens has the AC line of electric motors and generation equipment.

I only have the plaque.When did AC use a plaque like this? How old is this plaque? Where was the pump used,fire house or building fire suspressant system? There is a photo in on file on this sight.Plaque reads Allis Chalmers Centrifugal Fire Pump
