hello, I looking for a part number or a source to get a water pump. Engine is a L or M combine engine that was used as a power unit for irrigation. has in line simms pump and has the long front to back oil cooler. any ideas ? i can find pumps, but they don,t match what i have. 4006509 is the # i find for it.

The best way I have found to get the right pump is to get the casting numbers off the old one and match it up that way. Check the pumps that you do find to see if the difference is the hub just needs to be flipped or put the hub off the old pump on your new one.

The pumping of water is a basic and practical technique, far more practical than scooping it up with one's hands or lifting it in a hand-held bucket. This is true whether the water is drawn from a fresh source, moved to a needed location, purified, or used for irrigation, washing, or sewage treatment, or for evacuating water from an undesirable location.
