Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum and have a question on a AC 30 KW generator with a D262 naturally asperated engine. I am trying to get 240 VAC 3 phase out of my 12 lead generator and have hooked up in a series delta configuration and the leads are connected as follows. 3 interconnects of 8 & 5, 6 & 9, and 4 & 7. The lineout connections are 1 & 12, 2 & 10 and 3 & 11. The generator works good as it was connected double delta getting single phase power out of it before. I should have gotten 240VAC phase to phase unless the AC gensets can not be hooked up this way. Can anyone shed some light on this Thanks in advance Gary in Texas

I'm in Florida for a couple more weeks. When I get home I can look in my electrical books and maybe find something.

Wireng for the 12 lead head should be standard. I would guess that to make it work when wired double delta they had to do something with the voltage regulator? Wiring diagram for standard heads is linked.
