Has anyone ever used a squadron hitch before? Or have one sitting around. I am considering making one for a couple of 10 ft wheat drills. Looking for ideas. Thanks Adam

what brand and model of drill? many mfg.'ers had their own. JD went up to 4 or 5 sections on the old LZs, and a guy I work for has a set of 9400 Deeres (3 rank hoe drills) that is 60 feet. factory hitch IIRC.
we went to an auction that had a set of either 8 or 10 LZs hooked together. that one was aftermarket, and required a bracing bracket to the drills. common sets are 2 and 3. in fact, we planted our winter wheat crop a few days ago with the 7000 Allis and a set of LZs with the factory double hitch. 70 acres took 2.5 long days, but we got it done. we gotta drag the auction bargain Crustbuster 40 footers out of the weeds and get them ready for next year, will upgrade to the 7020 or 7040 for that one though. good luck!

I built one for 2 Case drills. The pivot was on front right of front drill. Hitch for rear drill would swing to left to go down the road or to right for field work. MACK
