Yesterday I purchased a D21 at auction. Serial no 1211. series 1 Has not been changed over! Apeares to be in good shape. Two things I wonder about are 7.50x 20 front tires and under hood muffler like 190. Need all info I can get. This photo proves that Darryl does't have all the D21's

You have a regular under the hood muffler that standard on the series 1 non turbo tractor. 7.50 x 20" was the standard front tire and 18.4 x 34" is the standard rear tire.
11 x 16" fronts were an option that almost all D-21's have. Good find. The first D-21 that I've seen with the 20" fronts. Looks like someone used the wrong decals when it likely was repainted years ago. Edited by Calvin Schmidt - 07 Oct 2012 at 5:57pm |

that is a nice straight tractor! I can see why not many were sold with the skinny tires - they just don't look right on a big and brawny tractor like a D21 (even on the 190).

Nice rig! Good to know they are still around. Missed two at a sale in Yuma, Co last fall, kick myself for not going, one brought $3,700 the other $4,100, I believe. Never seem to have the money and time to go to sales when I should.

Henry. NICE FIND!!!! I wonder too about the 8 lug front end. I know that you can swith hubs out from the six to the eight. Yes tires are correct. I do have front fenders for that size tire on a D 21. They are aftermarket with the original box and paperwork with mudflaps and everthing to mount up if interested.
Take care, Darryl
