Just was wondering if anyone had any good reveiws on cheaper tires like Delta or Sampson or any others. I lost a rear tire on my 190XT and am tring to figure out after labor and fluid work if its worth the savings to look at the cheaper tire. As it sits now I can get a firestone SAT ll for $1000 mounted and new tube with fluid, and labor. It appears that firestone is phasing out Field and Road in favor of the new SAT ll, anyone have any thoughts on them?

Firestane sat is a great tire, digs good in field, wears good on road. the sat2 is only slightly different than the sat, still 23 deg. i think. around here you can still get the sat so you may still be able to match if that what you had. 1000 is not bad just paid 1200 for the same
There are 3 ways to do job GOOD, FAST, CHEAP. YOU MAY CHOOSE 2. If its FAST & CHEAP it won't be GOOD, if it's GOOD & CHEAP it won't be FAST, and if its GOOD & FAST it won't be CHEAP!!!!

u may wanna look around for a pair of used tires/rims. i had found a local set for our d-19 they where firestone radials with 80%tread and good condition rims for $800/pair. that beats $2500 for new rims, tires, tubes ,labor etc.etc. not sure where your located at, but norm on here has some. good luck
