I remember one or two of them on the show room floor in the day. Early 70's never worked on one.

The universal answer to all questions is yes, how much do you want to spend?

What do you need to know? We had a new one in the mid 60's.

I hated to work on them. Big hands and big arms are not a good thing when putting on the mower cables.

They made a 5HP and a 7HP model. That is the 5. Pretty straight forward mower, they made it to compete with the cheaper line of mowers. Friction disc tranny and single blade deck on that one. 7HP had a timed 2 blade deck that really mowed fantastic. Deck was cast aluminum also. The Scamper model mowers were later, cheaper made versions of these. Not much there either but they mowed really well.

Yea, I can fix that.....

Dont lean back when mowing up a hill, they will dump you real quick. My little brother did wheelies all the time, and upset a few times.

I have the Hahn-Eclipse twin to that in my garage. Manufactured in Evansville Ind. for Allis-Chalmers. Was my Grandfathers, twin blade, alum. deck, 5-speed, mowed great when it was in good shape. Now everything is worn out and tired, but I still keep it because it was my gramp's. Haven't started in many years.
