Rainy weekend so I fired up the wood stove and tore into my ca's hydraulic pump.
I have had it for about two years and have had problems with (chatter) and slow reaction when lifting implements. I was hoping to "find something wrong" but I couldn't believe what it was, after tearing apart and laying out on card board I found that in one of the cylinder 2 balls and one cylinder with none! The other two with one.
Cleaned everything up new gaskets, put back together and WOW what a difference, NO chatter, lifts smooth and responds quickly. I'm happy! The only problem was when I took the drain plug out, I didn't realize the volume of oil (big plug) and had a little mess.
The cats won;t miss the kitty litter.
So NORM, I guess I won't be coming down for parts after all, but it is nice to know you're there.

Thumbs Up Clap I wonder how long it's been that way? Maybe somebody heard the noon whistle on a Friday and thought they remembered where they left off after dinner.
