Ooops, Thought I was supposed to click "post reply" before my reply. Anyway, I was trying to say they make a good loader tractor because the front wheels are out front close to the bucket which helps eliminate the need for a counter weight.

They are both workin tractors, but I am fixing up things wrong with them as I go along.  Next project is another barn to store them in by themselves.  The little barn gets just too crowded with all the other stuff and the implements too.

I think it's easy to see which tractor gets the most "seat time in the sun"!  Thanks for sharing pix.

Hope you don't leave the crank in the C while you are mowing. Other wise, enjoyed your pixs. Nice place!

The seat does recline, to a point.  I don't know what loader it is on the 45.  And the crank only goes in for pictures.  It has electrical start on it, with a key.  DougS helped me with that. Works great!

Ted,
I really like the air cleaner assemblies you've installed. Have you completely gutted the original but kept for looks or are the new kind of like a pre-cleaner before the working original? I'm thinking they would be a nice dry replacement over the original without altering the looks too much. Where did you locate these? part number maybe??

Lionel, here is the URL.  I got them on eBay.

If the URL doesn't work, just let me know in a PM.

Oh yeah, Dipstick, that glider was made by my grandfather at the La Crosse Plow works in the late 20s.  I've done some welding and LOTS of new boards on it ever since.  My Mom was gonna scrap it so I took it up to the farm!  The grandkids all LOVE it!

Ted, is the stock air cleaner still functional with the screen and oil in the cup? That's a neat setup you've got there.

The tractors & pics look great, but....................you left one out............(you know, the one of you taking a nap on the "C").  :-)
Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?

Yes, I still use the stock oil bath filter too.  It just keeps it cleaner a lot longer.  Its been two months now and it is cleaner than when I would change it after two weeks the old way.

The only time I ever fell asleep on the C was when I was a kid and cultivating corn.  And I'm willing to bet that I'm not the only one that did that!  LOL
