Did the Gas model have a different carburetor design? or was the venturi only changed to a larger size?

175 had a Marvel carb and 170 had a Zenith.

Dr.Allis, Is there any benefit of having the Marvel over the Zenith carburetor? I'm assuming due to their age (like the 170s) that the gleaner E combines' 226s all had the Zenith carbs?

A 175 Marvel carb has a bigger venturi and air inlet horn (more HP) over a Marvel from a D17/WD45 or E combine. I myself prefer a Marvel over a Zenith because the Marvel is all cast iron.
