Sure, you show the side that you didn't drop in the gravel, kick around trying to pick it up in your drunken celebration state after all those beers, and painted over in the dark with a rattlecan from walmart!
Really guys, this tractor looks waaaay better than a picture can show. He did one heckova bang up job on it!!! Eric is one of those that is a stickler for right!!, and I am allowed to call friend!!!! And it is definitely as close to PO#1 as he could find! It looks a little odd when shown with all the rest painted with "corporate orange", but it matches some old stock parts that I have painted with 1950's paint! joe
p.s. seein' is believin'

That tractor also pulls 55 hp on a tuff dyno. My 49 WD only made it to 30 something hp. So, it not only looks good------

Eric, you've got the best of both worlds of your D17 tractor - brand new condition & work clothes historical condition.
Although your restoration has probably granted it a better than factory new condition, you now understand the grace it must have granted the original owner to see it unloaded from the dealership's truck on delivery day to the farm.  It is in such fantastic appearance & shape.  I love the D-17 oval sticker on the sides of the sheet metal!
Your before picture reveals the test of time for the ol' girl.  Faded paint, oil leaks, maybe worn brakes, shiny handled Power Director stick from day-in/day-out use, supported muffler, service stickers, dings & dents and the list goes on.  Decades later and it's still doing a beautiful job of plowing.
Great Job!!
