    Posted: 21 Jul 2012 at 8:39pm
Here the aerial pics from Dale's show this morning.  Also a few from the ground after we landed.  Unfortunately the ones my son took from the ground turning takeoff did not come out as I had his camera on the wrong mode.  If anyone has good pictures from the ground during takeoff I would love to have them.  Thanks! Mike

P.S. Came back to add that we didn't fly Friday evening as the winds were too high...didn't die down till after sunset.  We got out to the field Saturday morning at 5:30 am and sat around looking at fog for over an hour.  Temp was only 56 degrees!  Finally about 6:45 am (hour after sunrise) it started to dissipate enough for us to set up.  By launch time at 7:15 am it was all gone.  Gorgeous morning!

My victims (lol):

Looking off to the NW the opposite way from Dale's place.  This is the direction we flew.  About 2.5 miles in about 25 minutes of flight time.

This morning's "Crew" after landing and pack-up.  Great job and thanks for the help!

Bob D (La.), Your grandson is almost as tall as you are now! LOL! He's grown up a lot since he was here several years ago and you took him for a ride on my D19.  Rick
