I painted the sa200 today and put a new face on it and new decals also, the only thing that really went wrong was I broke the fine current rehostat trying to take the knob off, that cost 95.00, ouch, since I only paid 200 for it now I will have close to 400 in it when done, ow well.  just thought you guys might like to see it

Looks really good, Dustin.  They are a great unit! Used to have one just like that mounted on my welding truck back in the day doing oilfield welding. Mine was fancied up a little with chrome goodies and pin striping!Wink

Nothing comes close to an old "abraham" for smooth arc characteristics.  Want to make some money?  At $400 invested, you could easily double or triple your money on that machine.  There is a reason that there is an SA200 sub forum on the American Welding Society's Forums.  These are what you might call "cult" machines.

The Pipeliners are excellent DC welders.  Nice work on the repaint job!
