Guys I need new radio's on the fenders for a few of my main haying tractors, XT, 170, 15II and 19. When I search I see mainly only a couple choices. Just wondering what y'all use [on fenders] and how you like them, etc. Am/FM is all I need, don't care about Sat ot Pods or discs. Thhanks again, Dana

Dana I have used the "Work Tunes" headset radio for probably 8 years now.  I like them because they offer some hearing protection, I can use them on any machine and they keep my ears clean LOL! Oh, and my cap from flying off in the wind....

I use the Work tunes headsets. I can take to a differant tractor when I use a differant one. My cab has annoying rattles and it blocks them out nicely. goes the whole summer on a set of batteries. and it holds my sun hat on. I've lost a couple sun hats mowing the church. When you mow over a hat there aint much left.

I have an REI brand fender radio on my D17D. It has an input jack for an Ipod, but no disc or tape. It also came with a set of headphones that completely cover my ears. Works very well. I like AM radio and have never found a headphone radio that worked well on AM.

My dad has an allis fender mount radio, can't remember who gave it to him, I think a local truck repair shop guy. I need to get the inside checked over and fixed, so we can use it!!

Eldon, is that radio so rare that you need 2 attack cats to guard it? Maybe there is a third "stealthy cat" hiding in the box!

Here's my NOS Allis radio that i bought a few years ago. It had a Allis-Chalmers decal on front, but it had sat so long it dried up and fell off. I also have the original box. Put it on a 6080 and works very well. rrhead(SD)
