I like the looks of an open staion 7000 series much better than with the cab. Even when they were new I thought the maroon bellies looked like glossy red oxide primer begging to be painted. Perhaps they were not glossy enough as I sure like this one, and I'm glad that you didn't do what I would have been temped to do & paint it up like a black belly model! Great job on another one!! Kip

I agree with Kip, those tractors look so much better without a cab, who ever designed those cabs and the 200 cab's completely mismatched the style of the tractors. I've owned 3 7060s and a 7080 but I never cared for the cabs on them inside or out.

thank you for all the replies! It sure turned out better then I thought. I agree on the open station 7000 they sure are an Eye catcher. Somthing not seen all of the time. It is a tractor we are planning on adding to our collection I beleive. We will probably rake some hay with it and go on a few tractor drives. With the 18.4-38's it goes down the road at a pretty good clip! It is fun to drive and sounds good as well. I cant get over how smooth the 3 speed power shift works on these tractors. We are working on a mate to it that will more then likely be for sale in a couple of months if anyone may be interested. Thanks again!!

Thats like turning back time to when they were new. Good that you can get a little use out of it raking hay and not just a show queen.

If they had looked that good coming off the assembly line, they would've been sold out all the time! It is a beauty.

I know you don't need the weight for haying but that tractor would look so cool with a couple of rear donut weights and a set of front suitcase weights on it. Just plain mean for a +100HP tractor! IMHO

we have the bracket for the weights painted and ready to put on. We have 6 weights I think will be enough for going to shows and raking hay. Probably be used for spreading fertilizer. I will post a couple more photos when I get the weights on!!
