I just brought home a D-19 diesel. Original paint, great sheet metal. Snap coupler, no 3 point. It is complete but not running. Rear tires will need replacing. It has a Full Vision cab that is missing some of the glass. It does have the left hood panel that is not shown in the photo. It has the nose weight and the heavy rear weights. I paid $2000 for it which is more than I planned, but it was solid straight and compete. I am thinnking of removing the cab, but will need the fender brackets if I do,
The man also had a solid 1958 D-17 with a Freman loader and new tires. I couldn't afford both.
These were part of an estate.

Looks like a gamble, but you never know...hopefully a little tug and she will pop right off! I have a set of fender brackets, but probably a little far to ship.... Good Luck!

Joe,
Just went by your place today as I was at Dwayne's helping mount some weights. Is that the ones advertised that were on a place someone bought and were parked where last used? I know of a complete 262 out of a D19D that is for sale if you need parts.
Had "issues" and they decided to go the Cummins route for pullin. Same fella also has the complete factory 3-point assy. off the same tractor as they blanked the rear housing off as well.
That front wraparound weight is unique and a poster on here has one on his D17 in S-Ville. Just brought my D19D down to Texas a few months ago as well; nothing like that turbo whistle on the Buda after they warm up for a few minutes.
Hit me up if interested in that used motor or 3-point, they are in S-Ville and the motor has been stored inside since pulled two years ago.
Tim

Since it looks like the factory fenders are still on I would assume the brackets are still on the tractor also. The full vision cabs I removed from two of mine mounted between the bracket and fender.

I certainly would not just go try pull starting it. I would make sure you can turn engine over at least 2 full revolutions by hand. I have seen and fixed too many injection pump seizures due to people just simply pulling or cranking them over after sitting a long time. Way more expensive to repair than simply having it torn down and cleaned up for use. Ed.

Looks like a good find. I have a D19 gas, but have a diesel on my wish list. I definitly would lose the cab. Good luck with the project! Darrel

I was able to start it today using the starter. Sounds good and operates as it should. The engine oil looks like it was just changed before it was parked.
There are no fender brackets. The fenders bolt to the cab.
Tim, it is the one you saw advertised. I would be interested in the 3 point if reasonable in price.
