Hi all, I managed to put my clip on bale spear through the radiator of my D17. I have a feeling putting an egg in the coolant isnt going to fix this leak.... I called around and all I can find is new or refurbished ones that are about 500 bucks. That is a good bit more than I was hoping to get by on.

Any suggestions would be well received. This is not a parade tractor or a restore hobby, my D17 works for a living and is mostly held together with duct tape and hope... I am open to cobbling a different radiator on, or just about any ideas that get me moving bales again on the cheap. Doing it "right" and making her pretty have to wait until I can afford it, but my hay doesnt care that I'm poor.

Watch Ebay for used but with shipping your still looking at 2 - 300 hundred and you never know what's going to arrive. Have you looked at having it repaired or recored locally?
