Today at a sale I bought an I400 with a loader and 3pt, my questions are did all the 400s come with the 2 speed (high / lo) or was it an option? Also it was missing the fenders, were the fenders like the d-10 and 12s or were they the squared off fenders like the 615s I have, Thanks. I have seen 400s before but never paid any attention , Dustin

Dustin: The fenders for the I40 or I400 should be round. I40's and I400's were based on the D series 10 and 12's.
Also, please note that some of the 615's had rounded fenders.

Fenders for the later 10's and 12's are the same as the D14 & 15, and the industrials were the same.

The High/Low or reverser tansmission was an option on the I-40/400 the same as it was on the Series III D-10/12's. I have an I-400 without either and have seen another without as well. I'd say most especially if they had a loader will have the reverser transmission.
