The belt on my C was a bit loose overheating the engine and I lost all oil pressure.  I was unsuccessful in priming the pump.  Before I split it, what are some tricks to prime it and what could have happened?  It does have a Wix fiber element filter.

Thanks for any ideas

Take the line off just before the oil filter and shoot some oil up the like several times. Reattach and start. Give a few seconds and the gauge should start going up to normal again.
Can't fix stupid
