They all will bolt up and work OK, linkages are all the same providing the current carb is a standard WD carb and not some off the wall thing.  HTH

the marvel on the wd45 is bigger than the wd. you wouldnt have to change anything from the zenith to the marvel. except like cal said the linkage maybe. why do you want to change carbs. i like the zenith carbs. never had one on my wd. but i have rebuilt plenty (not hard) ive also rebuilt the zenith for wc's and wd's. i really dont htink one is better than the other. so if the zenith is good and can be rebuilt i dont see why you would change them.
thats just my opinion
wd with a freeman model 90 trip loader, wd45, 38 unstylled wc, b 10 garden tractor and 2-14 ac trip plow. grandpa has a 56 wd45. wd. allis chalmers snap coupler blade and 3 bottom snap coupler plow

i dont like zenith at all you rebuild them and thay are not much better then before a MS onthe other hand is like new after a rebuild. i am working on a 1950 WD for a guy he had the zenith rebuilt a nd it is no better then befor i have rebuilt many carbs. for AC tractors neaver much luck with zenith so we are going to put a MS on it. also a new manifold. thanks tom

Yeah, I'm ready to switch my WD from Zenith to MS too. If the tractor sits  for some weeks without running it's always a tough start next time, I've had it apart numerous times but can't pinpoint a reason. My WF's are easy starting even in cold weather, they have MS carbs.

MS from a 45 is a bigger including the inlet so you'll have to make an adapter, find a radiator hose or change the air cleaner. I have a styled WC with a 45 air cleaner and a Zenith carb, I think it had a MS on it at one time to try to get a little more hp out of it. They used a universal radiator hose with different diameter ends but it hasn't stood up to gas very well and is brittle and starting to crumble.

I have two WC's and a WD with the same model Zenith and Massey 44 with a bigger Zenith and a WD45 and 4 D17's with MS. I don't see much advantage from one to the other, and Zeneith ownes MS today if it makes any difference.

Tom,
Although the WD was equipped with the popular Zenith 9707, 9707A, & 9707C small bore carburetors, you can replace those particular carburetors with a Marvel Schebler. You would want to stay with a small bore M/S though. The small bore Marvel you would want to use would be either the TSX-159 or the TSX-422 carbs. These carbs will stick you in the same air/fuel mix as the Zenith for the 201 engine. Moving to a large bore M/S like what comes on the WD45 (TSX-464) would be a tic on the large size unless you had a few  engine mods. If the engine is stock, stick with the small bore version, you'll be much better off, and the engine will perform nicely.... HTH
