Well, I've always thought I wanted a snap coupler rake, so got the opportunity to get one. Here are some pictures. Needs a lot of teeth, the jack is broke off and the tires need repair (one won't hold air), but still not too bad.

John, yes, got the entire pto shaft. Checked it out and it does fit. Also, have the jack which was broke off, so will have to figure out the best way to weld it back on. Smokey, as for the good deal I hope so. I paid what I'd consider a fair end user deal not a buy and sell deal. As I plan on keeping and using it, that's ok.

Dave, nice rake. I have a 77G rake, had to put all new teeth on it when I got it, I bought them at our local Rural King store for less than a dollar each. Same tooth but are for a New Idea I think, only problem they are GREEN.

Don't think you need to worry about broken/missing teeth. They won't do nothing for that snow anyway. LOL Looks good.

Well, I had to spend $450 for the rake, but I do have the PTO shaft and the factory jack (just have to get it welded back on). As for the heat houser, yeah kinda unique to see that I know. Had to take the blade off the '45 so I could mount the rake and move it into the shed. Gonna work on the tire repair today, then get to the teeth. Thanks for the after market teeth info. Dave

New Idea rake teeth will work, but you will still need the retaining clips to hold them in place, and as Dale said they are green.

Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

I am missing about half of the retaining clips, so if anyone has some of those, I'd be interested. Thanks, Dave

Sweet looking little unit. I knew where there was one at one time that had been butchered into a 3pt. I'd jump on one of those in a snap if I could find one.

Brian, I was told that they would convert readily to three point. If you look at the pictures, you can see where by removing two bolts the snap coupler bracket can be removed. Then pins for the lower three point arms inserted. There is a bracket at the top of the rake for the third link. Looks pretty slick to me to do. Dave

I have a neighbor that had a 77M that was set up on 3-PT, I borrowed it about 20 years ago, worked great. I will have to check to see if he still has it.
