Looking at 1962 D-19 and it has 15.5x38 rears on it, is that a norm or was they and add-on?

We had 18.4-34's on a D19 and switched to 18.4-38's and really liked the increased traction.

Mine has 16.9 x 38 tires/rims on it.   I am pulling them off and putting dished rims/centers and 18.4 x 38's on for pulling.   I am thinking of selling the ones that are on it right now as soon as I get them off, as well as the wheel weights that are on it.

The 15.5 x 38  6 ply rear tire (non power shift) was standard equipment. Optional sizes were 16.9 x 34 and 18.4 x 34.
