I hooked up a couple of batteries to the 185D today and lots of sparks but no go. Pulled the starter and stuck a crowbar in to try to pry on the starter ring but couldn't budge it. Took the front plate off under the radiator and put a socket and 4' cheater bar on the front pulley and couldn't get it to move. I was hoping since the oil looked like new that the engine would fire right up...guess the cap over the exhaust was put on after the fact....oh well, anyone need a 2800 project? I did get the rear dual pto/3pt casting off and everything looks good if someone is looking for a 1000/540 setup let me know.
