went this am to look at an 84- 3300 engine hours no sep meter.
the raddle chain pan is cracked behind the front about 3 inches back on both sides. what is thw fix for this- could a person order poly and cover the entire pan floor. the inside of the combine it still has paint in some places- the machine is in pretty nice shape. second- it needs 2 new walkers or replacement stuff for the back 1 foot or so on each- can you buy this ready to weld in somewhere?

if the walkers aren't too bad they can be welded back. we've done it several times.

i think they all do that eventually- i would pull and weld or replace if i could find a decent set- i have to decide tonight if i am going to buy- the R52 is still a thought as well

Dad and i got an 82 L2 last year and for the money, we are thrilled. I know you've got an M2 (I think it's and M2) but the L's are so much cheaper than the rotaries. For the money I'd get another L2/3.
