Tom did the D17 have any trouble pulling the wagon out or was the field dry. We had to use are 9675 fwa to pull wagons out with.

Corn was 14% moisture. The old 17 only had trouble twice when the full wagon buried to the hubs. 17 would just spin. Had to go to the barn and the the D21 with duals to pull it out. Most of the rest of the ground was dry enough. Combine didn't rut anywhere. We got an average 190 bu/acre. Best in years.

Yes sir. An A430 and the F2 has the little 4 cyl diesel. Ran a conservative 2.5 mph. Harvest was 100 acres +/-, and only had three breakdowns. All happened after dark so I had to stop till the next morning. Lost a bearing on the cylinder, a roll pin on the tailings elevator and dropped one of the drive chains on the corn head.

I am convinced that good fortune was mine. Although when I found it 2 years ago, this one had been sitting in a barn for over 10 years, it only had 1200 hours on the separator. So far I've only lost one bearing and one belt. The latter was on the grain head.

Some of you say you can't see the photo. I discovered that if I use Explorer as my browser I can see the pictures, but when I use Firefox I cannot. Haven't figured out yet what setting in my version of Firefox is preventing that.
