Do you guys make your own metal gas line?
If so, do you get the line and fittings, then flare the ends? Where can a person purchase the materials?

I use copper line and compression fittings from the hardware store. Makes it pretty easy and it looks good.

Do you have the tools to do it with? You need a bender also. Brake line works real well and most of the time you can get the correct fittings on already. Inquire at you favorite car parts store, e.g. Napa, Oreilly's, Motor Parts, etc. Just take your existing ends with you.

NAPA has them behind the counter here, just get the right sized fittings which are already attached just bend to shape...

We offer fuel lines already made, but as the guys said, you can make your own. I use 1/4" brake line for most of the replacement lines.

1/4" brake line already has ends installea and you can bend it with your fingers.

I go to NAPA and pick out one that has the right fittings and length from the brake line rack. Flaring tools and a cheapie bender are great additions to the tool box. As an alternative to using a bender you can clamp different sizes of pipe in a vice and bend the tubing around them.
