...... I have found a ground driven 95g manure spreader... it is in over all decent shape...the metal is not rusted out at all but its going to be rewooded I belive that is all that it realy needs. what do you think a fair price would be?? guy is asking 650.00. I know there can't be very many spreaders out there and its kinda big for my operation but i think painted up it would like great behind the 17 or 14...... i have kinda been going back and forth on weather or not to buy it... any thoughts? thanks

Well, you're right , they ain't exactly making them anymore.....
Since it needs new wood, maybe offer $500,settle for $575 ?
Providing the 'bank' says you can have it.
Really if you can afford to buy, I'd buy it,refurbish it, keep her clean and it'll outlive all of us.

There, big enough kick in the pants for you ?!!

I have been there done that. I bought a 95G with good metal, bad wood, and bad tires. Tractor tread tires and tubes cost a hair over $200  for the pair mounted. It is still on the to do list but other than taking up shed space I have no regrets about buying it.
