Well I'm dealing on this thing locally and its well, pretty rough lol.....the side plate looks different and some other things don't match my memory to my 201 in my Styled WC....is this a Leroi 201 I've heard about? SN is 27756.....I'm pretty much saving it from the scapper so I may resell....is it close to anyones SN that they want 2 in a row? What would you pay for it?

Rims are all junk...the left rear I forgot to get a pic of but the spokes on the side that set in the dirt for years are about as thick as a number 2 pencil....I want the centers though to build 38's for my puller....just not sure what to make of this thing yet.

Looks regular WC to me. I'm sure there would be some interest in the RV-4 magneto, as that's the proper one for some of the earlier WCs, but many were later replaced by FM type or WICO mags. Kip

I honestly don't know why its yellow lol....I didn't think anything was odd about the tractor other than the side plate doesn't have 6 bolts holding it like my Styled one does....some things engine wise looked a hair different...maybe its just me lol

What's the engine serial #? If that one piece rear wheel is good, they seem to go for as much or more than the spoked ones.

The s/n on some of the early WC engines was on the back of block just above bell housing.

If I get back over that way I'll check the engine SN too. I'm supposed to meet the guy and deal on it tomorrow. He said offer over scrap so I figured maybe 2500 lbs - tire fee @ around 2.00 a hundred around here right now = not much lol....he's pretty much already agreed to my price so I just have to figure out how to load it lol

Well I bought it....picking it up probably next weekend if I'm feeling better from surgery....just have to figure out how to drag it on the trailer. Not sure if I'm going to fix it, part it, or just resell it. I just got it to save it from China. Let me know if there is any interest as it as a whole, or PM me with parts requests. I would take in trade pulling tires and rims for my Styled WC....something in a 16.9 x 28 on pressed steel rims or something like that...open to different sizes but cutting the fat I need rid of my cast centers.

I still have your message....like I said I'm getting an idea of what people want before I decide what I'm going to do.

As far as the yellow color, it doesn't appear up close to have been repainted so maybe someone can shed some light on that question....I honestly don't know.

My '35 WC is also yellowed.

Was it used for primer at AC?   or did AC paint fade into yellow.

Doesn't cheap spray can aftermaket AC paint turn pink or yellowish too?

Yellow sometimes means a Municipality might have owned it originally. Maybe dragged a brush hog behind it at one time. Just a guess........
