Some guys like to fish, some ride bikes, some jog. This is what I like to do to relax. I know it's corny to you guys that do this for a living, but I rode a fire engine for over 30 years & I need something that goes much slower now. John, how about shareing your secret.
Your WD is the cleanest original paint that i have seen.
New paint is easy to make look good but to make a tractor look good in here old cloths is not so easy.
what do you use to make her shine?

There's not many sounds prettier than an old four cylinder purring like that. My d15 and my super c are the smoothest running tractors i've ever heard. Makes me wish they weren't tucked away inside the shed for the winter.

During the days of the 7000 series ALLIS had a 7000 series cab set up with a screen in place of the front window ( in the Milwaukee plant ) you could sit in the seat and drive the tractor. It was really neat, The good Lady and I took a tractor factory tour while our boys played in that cab ( the youngest was too young so they stayed in that dispaly room). I suppose it is too much to wonder if that film or set up is still round somewhere? Tractorman

John, nothing corny about a tractor ride. I belong to two antique tractor clubs and both clubs have members who have farmed most of their life. Tractor drives are one of my favorite activities.

I agree with you, I've been driving tractor for 50+ years on the farm and I still enjoy tractor rides, can see a lot of things at 12 miles an hour you would miss at 60.

Thanks Dave! Betsy's got her blemishes, but I leave them because they were all there when my grandfather used her. I do like to wipe on some boiled linseed oil every once in awhile. And when I bushhog the field across the road here for the old lady that owns the property, I wipe her off afterwards (the tractor, not the old lady). Here's a picture of me sitting on the toolbox way back when...

Making Memories includes sitting in the seat, putting along with a little boy or girl hangin' onto the wheel with 'ya. My grandpa did it with me then, just like my kids do it with me now. It is, therefore, a bridge connecting generations.

I went almost 30 years without any seat time on an AC. First time I heard the governor bark on my little B and the distinct sound of a Nelson muffler I was hooked again. I spent many afternoons on "Toolbox Daycare" myself.
