Will a 160 engine kit fit D14 block.
Will 160 valve train fit D14 head or use 160 head
on the D14 block.

no will not fit correctly orings for sleeves are on sleeves for 149
orings on a 160 are in b lock my 2 cents

O rings for a 149 are in the block. I just installed an engine full of them.
There are some differences in the early 149 block and the later ones.
I have a 57 D14 and a 62 D15, both 149 cubes, but are different.
Very obvious around the oil filter and govenor. Bob
