Will a cylinder head off a 7020 fit a 1970 190xt without problems?  what are the differences between the two?

will fit, but they are very different. Injectors/holes are different with 7020 head having copper tubes, and having tapered injector tip nuts using no sealing washer. Also the water passages in the front are different.

We put a 190 head on a M2 Gleaner, the old head had the copper tubes and a crack.  Like Ed said had to change injector tips, otherwise it worked good.

sounds like more extra work then needed.  There's one on eBay needing rebuilt for $100+shipping currently.  Same guy has a water pump and oil cooler off a 7020 as well as a ray-jay turbo off a 220.  used allis parts

I would not want to go backward by putting a copper sleeved on a 190XT since the old head is the best.
I have some 190XT heads that I would take 75.00 each. You can take your pick.
