Our tractor club raffled one off like that in Oct, kind of cute but I don't think it is meant to be ridden on, kind of awkword and a little flimsey.

Seth, these combines are made of die-cast metal, though the header itself is plastic. We've sold a couple of the JD ones at work and never had a complaint. They also had a grain head available at the time.

If I'd had one of them as a kid I could have been the scourge of the chicken coop.

I bought two of these a few months back. I felt it was a great product and picked them up for $210 a piece. My son loves it.

IN NOV OF 2007 WHEN THEY FIRST WERE INTRODUCING THE PEDAL COMBINES (JOHN DEERE) WE WERE IN DYERSVILLE AT SCALE MODELS WITH OUR GRANDSONS, & THEY WERE ASKED TO RIDE ON IT FOR A LOCAL TV SHOW. SO THEY DID & WERE FILMED WITH JOE ERTL. AND WITH MY BIG MOUTH , I TOLD THEM IF THEY MADE THEM ORANGE I'D PROBABLY EVEN BUY ONE. AND TO OUR SUPRISE THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS THERE WAS A MESSAGE ON OUR ANSWERING MACHINE STATING THAT THEY WERE SORRY BUT THEY WERE GOING TO SEND THE BOYS A COMBINE, BUT THEY DIDN'T GET THEM OFF THE LINE IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS, BUT THEY WOULD AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WELL TO OUR SUPRISE, CHRISTMAS EVE DAY, UPS CAME IN THE YARD WITH 2 COMBINES FRESH OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE. KIND OF SPECIAL , EVEN THOUGH GREEN.

I think all the newer pedal combines are the same mold, just painted different.

Bottoms, cabs are same and all heads and such. But there is a few casting differences on rear of them. We have a S-77 (all black) in stock. And can customize them with duals, air tires etc. And we have header trailers for them. Here's link to them on our web site. Even have one motorized for the grandkids! http://www.mooresfarmtoys.com/product_details.php?id=455
