I have a few A-C's but from time to time I see guys on here talking about their Oliver tractors on here. I just bought a 1650 Oliver gas with a factory loader on it today just thought I could get your opionions on these, just take it easy on me because I still have 5 A-C tractors though. Thanks again.

Good for you ! I love Olivers too ! Got to rebuild the steering box on my Aunts' 550 and get the 1600 running again. They think the head gasket blew but I haven't had time to mess with it.

I borrowed a brand new 1650 from the local dealer in about 1968 or 69 to pull the homecoming float in the parade.I thought it was great. I also own a 1960 OC46 though it's in a couple pieces right now.

There have been 2 Olivers on Craigslist for Jackson TN for a while. They are in Selmer TN.  There is a 1650 for $1500 and a 1850 for $3500. The seller lists 2 numbers 901-233-2601 and 901-359-2585. They look intact but neglected in photos.

i always thought they were real nice looking tractors when new! (think they still are) way ahead of some of the boring looking tractors of those years! (excluding AC) the controls also looked to be handy to the operator!

If it has the over/under that is a plus.  Easy to work on and parts are easy to find...at least around this area

We had a 1650 diesel on the farm, it was an early one got it in 65 or 66, it had the hydra power drive so it was free wheeling going down hill in low! Really got your attention fast if you didn't shift up! It had the utility front axle (short wheelbase), put lots of hours on it!
