He's offered to deliver it for $1/mile. $400 if no one else bids. I do have my Grandpas' mower, never used but in pretty bad condition. Sitting on the ground for 30some years and fertilizer in the dirt, too ! Lot of work and HEAVY !

You can do better than that. Take your tools and your car and go get it. Just take it apart and bring it home in pieces.

I brought home a very early B plow that I found in NJ on the way home from a business meeting in NYC. I was in a suit and all I had was a hammer and cold chisel. I cut the nuts, knocked out the bolts and loaded all the pieces into my PT Cruiser. I did not even get my suit dirty.

You can do it.   For way less than $400.....

Yeah, being a truck driver the distance isn't a problem, except for not getting paid to drive it ! I need to go get my Grandpas' out of the shed and fix it. I have a friend that seems to think any metal that needs replaced, WE can make it new. If only my hands could make what my imagination can come up with ! $400 is to much.

Glenn, there isn't any way I could persuade you to post pictures of that plow, is there? Mounted on a tractor would be even better but you've probably already used it and taken it off by now.

To the OP: You'd be surprised what fits in my 20 year old Honda Civic. A little disassembly goes a long way. Go for it!

wjohn,
It is off the tractor and in one of my storage buildings right now. I will try and remember a camera the next time I go up there. I might just mount it to B#119 if I get it done this winter. It sure looks a bit different than the later ones though.

I was lucky enough to persuade Fred to part with a nice version of the second variation of the B plow also. That day, I had a trailer at his place and he kept putting stuff on it. As they say at Staples, "that was easy!".

Thanks - there's no rush, since I won't be able to work on my tractor next summer due to an internship. It's more for curiosity; I think I have the second version but I'm not completely sure. I had a heck of a time finding a manual for it. Just missing the early style drawbar brackets and the L shaped bracket that bolts under the seat to hold one end of the lift assist spring.
