According to a August 1977 AC 706B operators manual the following 2 engines were available;
Ford gasoline 192 cu in 4 cylinder 3.1L 56hp, 7:1 compression ratio
Perkins diesel 4.203 203 cu in 3.3L 4 cylinder 50hp, 17.4:1 compression ratio

Both engines spec, 2400-2550diesel 2500-2650gas rpm rated speeds, 12V electrics, negative ground, 8 quarts of oil, 16qts coolant.  706b has 20 gal fuel tank & 30 gal hydraulic system.

Now, if you have an AC 706b like mine it has been retrofitted with another engine?  Mine has a continental 4 cylinder f227 gas engine.  It is under powered by my standards.  I hope to swap an AC 433T or AC 226 d17 gas into it soon.
